Description
M83 Electric Airsoft Rifle Heavy Weight AEG
A 1:1 scale replica of an M16 M4 carbine rifle, the M83 electric airsoft rifle is remarkably authentic. The M83 fires round pellets known as BBs, which are propelled out of the gun electronically. The advantage of the airsoft rifle, however, is that players can safely train, simulate, or play with the gun without fearing serious injury. The M83 looks, feels, weighs, and functions just like a real firearm, but is built for casual recreation rather than weaponized use. In fact, the only way you can typically tell a real-steel firearm from an airsoft rifle is the blazing orange tip and the BBs that fire when you pull the trigger. The M83 is an electronic gun, with no pumping required: just point and shoot. The gun offers two firing modes--full auto and semi-auto--and comes equipped with an adjustable electric red crosshair sight, an adjustable laser aim module, a tactical flashlight, and a bullet loader. Specifications: Magazine capacity: 42 BBs Velocity: Approximately 240 fps Fire modes: Full auto, semi-auto Caliber: 6mm BBs Detachable tactical flashlight (batteries included) Detachable laser sight (battery included) Red crosshair scope (battery included) Screw-on barrel extension (silencer replica) RIS forward grip Protective eyewear Bullet loader Screwdriver Rechargeable battery and charger

ok well this is a good gun. just has a couple of flaws i it. welll the major flaw for me is that i have to hold up the mag kinda so it doesnt skip rounds... also it doesnt hold a lot of ammo only 45 and all the construction is abs plastic. Shots hard and is accurate you just need to kinda conserve ammo. HAs a lot of acceseries and has a hop up installed in the gun. Which is nice. But without a speedloader it makes th3e gun a pain to reload so if ur a first time buyer make sure u get a speedloader along with the any aeg gun you plan on buying. I hope you found this review helpful for you. THIS REVIEW IS BY THE GOLDEN DYNASTY PRODUCITONS

I bought this gun quite some time ago when I was a newbie to airsoft, at first I was very excited about the gun, but soon the excitement turned into pure frustration as the bbs began to spread and the clip stopped feeding bbs into the gun. Even if you're a newbie to airsoft buy a CYMA Sig 552 or spend a bit more and get a nice JG or AGM, these tend to have much higher quality internals and are much better for the average airsofter.

Hey,this was the first gun I bought and I thought it was pretty cool it comes with a lot of accessories and is pretty powerful. The only downfall to the gun is that the clip's are custom which means they cost about $10 per clip that only holds 45 bbs and the battery runs out after about 20 clips, (It uses a 7.2V Ni-Cd batterie)It is made fully out of plastic also. If you looking for a backyard airsoft gun this is it.

I enjoyed receiving this rifle after Christmas as a gift to my self. I read up about this rifle and was pleased with the reviews about the gun. From fast shipment, great qualities about the gun, and also that it was electric and came with awesome features. These reviews were all correct and I am pleased with my air soft rifle. It is very accurate, the hop up is installed in the gun and can be turned on or off, I use it with it off since I play close combat situations and run straight up to people and hit them hard. The gun has great FPS, and also cool features: laser, red dot sight, tactical flashlight, and also removable sights and other equipment on the gun the battery also is very powerful! I look forward to using this gun for a while I also have a gas pistol to go along with this rifle and they work perfectly together in combat! awesome stuff and look forward to maybe purchasing more equipment from them! Overall great gun, great people respond fast to email, and also great customer service! Please purchase from them if looking for a great backyard gun and maybe indoor arena or indoor field play as well! AWESOME GUN next gun will be even sweeter!

I bought this M83 for my son who was turning 13 and is enamored with military weaponry. He went bonkers when he opened the gift. It was his "dream gift".
The build is sturdy and the attachments all fit nicely. This is not a toy for little children though. It puts out a good, steady stream of fire and could be dangerous in the wrong hands.
The main element it is advisable to consider when making use of Airsoft guns is safe practices. They have the same appearance and feel as a real gun and should be treated like one. It is best to handle these types of weapons as if it is loaded and handle them with care. Protective apparatus should certainly be employed at all times. The most important of these is without a doubt eye protective equipment. Make use of the appropriate safety goggles or glasses or perhaps a total protective face mask is especially encouraged.
There's protective vests for the purpose of Airsoft safety which you could obtain. Have on a thick jacket or perhaps jumper plus long-sleeved shirts to make sure all exposed skin is protected. Airsoft guns is able to provide you with many years of adventure in addition to quite a lot of fun. Be sure you buy the suitable gun for your personal specific need. Remember to adhere to the recommended safety protocols and dress yourself in protective gear. When you comply with these basic safety measures you will not be sorry.

The Basic Rules of Airsoft Safety
Airsoft is a fantastic outdoor and indoor recreation that everybody is able to enjoy participating in nonetheless the most important facet of having a fun game of Airsoft is understanding the rules of shooting an Airsoft gun. Improper use of an Airsoft gun might be deadly or bring about significant bodily harm. This information will talk about the rules of firing one of the most dangerous Airsoft weapon produced and that is the Multi Shot Airsoft Shotgun. Why is the shotgun such a hazardous weapon in Airsoft, this is certainly mainly because the Airsoft shotgun is actually a close range firing gun and the targetory of the BBs are spread far and wide; letting it potential hit unsuspecting opponents.
Here are some safety firing guidelines for Airsoft Shotguns:
1. Do not peek down the barrel of an Airsoft shotgun or any Airsoft weapon. Always point the shotgun away from you in the direction of the ground and certainly not at a person. This will prevent injuries to one self or another player in case the firearm just so happens to accidentaly fire.
2. Yet another key rule is maintaining the muzzle of the Airsoft shotgun clean or debris. The simplest way to avoid getting something trapped within the muzzle of one's shotgun would be to not allow the barrel get in contact with the ground.
3. Whenever shooting a shotgun, it is best to avoid ricochet firing. Never shoot at hard surfaces like a wall or bunker that is flat. Sometimes shooting at water areas can cause the BBs to skip or ricochet to an area you wouldn't expect it to go. For this reason it is definitely good to check where you shoot or in other words "blind firing."
4. Most important guideline regarding firing an Airsoft shotgun would be to ALWAYS dress yourself in protective face gear, such as goggles or Full Face mask. Shooting a shotgun is very unpredictable, BB's can fly all over the place so in order to guarantee your safety and under Airsoft player safety, everyone are required to put on their protective items.
These rules regarding firing a Airsoft shotgun need to be abided at all times. Once one of these rules is broken, someone or even yourself might be very seriously injured. As mentioned before, Airsoft is a fantastic activity As long as everybody employs the safety protocols!

$700 To Spend on "Airsoft"
I just earned PLN 2,000 -- $701 on one of my blogs. So I decided to buy some airsoft stuff for that money.
So... what to buy for less than $700? The more I save, the better, so I decided to spend no more than $500.
Of course my first thought was to buy a new Airsoft Replica. But which replica to buy? I went through the local Airsoft Shops and gathered ideas. I ruled out most of the replicas for the following reasons:
I owned the Classic Army's M15A2 for some time, so I don't want to buy anything from the M15/M16/M4 family,
I owned the ICS' MP5SD3 and have at the moment the MP5K PDW from Tokyo Marui, so I won't buy any MP5 either,I have AK47S from Cyma (CM028), so I don't want another Kalashnikov,I don't want any M249 minimi, 'cause I already have a support weapon - the mG36,
I also don't want another AUG nor G36.This left me with not many options to choose from!
After some time I had the following ideas:
the UZI AEG from Tokyo Marui, the P90TR AEG from Tokyo Marui, the SIG 552,some Sniper Rifle, the G&G GR300L.The UZI was one of the first AEG replicas I saw in my life. And now noone owns such a replica. This also means that it is difficult to buy any parts or accessories for it in Poland. We also have a gas powered Crossman mini-UZI, so I stopped to think about buying this replica.
The best thing in P90 is the way it looks. It looks like no other airsoft replica. It is a bullpup submachine gun, so it has a long barrel, yet it is very portable. It has three rails to install Dot Sight, a laser pointer and a flashlight. But I read an article about how the P90 does not work well in woodland games. I have a replica to use indoors, the MP5K, so I decided not to buy the P90.
The SIG 552 is a nice AEG. It has folded stock, and some rails for some equipment. It is also not popular. At the moment I couldn't buy this AEG in any of the local airsoft shops.
The GR300L is the only rifle of the M4 family I like. I had much fun time with the electronic version of this rifle in the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Shadow of Chernobyl and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Clear Sky. I also like the way it looks, but the replica is way too expensive for the money I wanted to spend.
This left me with only one option -- buying a sniper rifle.
The idea was the best of the all I had. I always wanted to have a rifle that has a very high muzzle velocity. I always wanted to shoot other players on the distance of over 200 feet. My first thought was to buy the Tanaka M700 or the cheap copy of this replica -- the KJW M700. Both are gas powered. Since they both have only 6 months warranty in the only polish shop I could buy them, I thought it was a bad idea. I wouldn't use the gas gun in winter, so the warranty was not enough... And then I read about Classic Army M24 and a cheap way to increase its muzzle velocity from 300 to 540 fps. And I decided to buy this rifle.
Later this afternoon I found a set of CA M24 with the 540 fps cylinder set installed, a bag, a sight but no magazine on the Allegro.pl (the polish alternative to eBay). The guy wanted to get at least $300 for this set, I would have to buy 3 magazines and a bag of heavy BBs (0.36 g) for extra $70. This would fit my budget well, so I made him an offer. The auction will last for 6 more days, I will write here if I managed to buy the rifle.

UTG MK96 (i own it)
![]()
by M. Thompson from OGDEN UTAH on 2007-04-09
Construction: Built just like the real 7.62mm sniper rifle the ABS stock of the MK96 is made of two halves bolted together over an aluminum frame. Weighing in at 8.5 lbs and measuring close to 4 feet long this sniper rifle is not for the weak. Most of the weight is contributed to the high metal content of this rifle.
Metal parts include: barrel, receiver, bolt, bolt handle, safety switch, trigger, magazine release, magazine, front sling mount, rear sling mount, bi-pod quick release unit, bi-pod adapter and bi-pod.
Its real steel counterpart was made for extreme cold weather use so you will see on this airsoft version that it has an oversized bolt handle and trigger guard for use with heavy gloves. A trigger safety as well as a thumb safety is featured on the MK96. The center section of the trigger must be depressed in order for the main trigger to be pulled. This rifle was designed to be scoped so it is not equipped with iron sights. It features a 7.5 inch weaver rail along the top of the receiver for mounting a scope or red dot sight. A nice feature is that the magazine has a spring loaded assist to help eject the magazine upon moving the magazine release lever. It also has a bi-pod quick release adapter. This railed adapter is pushed into the opening at the front of the stock and locks into place. With this adapter you can mount the included folding bi-pod or an optional rail mounting laser or flashlight. The cheek rest is adjustable in height and the stock can be adjusted in length by removing spacers under the rubber [...] pad.
The Hop Up is adjusted with an allen wrench which is inserted into the magazine well just forward of the magazine release.
Performance: This is not your average sniper rifle. With a muzzle velocity of 450+ fps the MK96 means business! With an adjustable Hop Up system that allows you to use several different weights of high polished BBs and a precision brass inner barrel the MK96 is capable of taking out a man sized target a 200 feet! Surprisingly the cocking effort is the same 25 lb pull as the M324 although the action is so smooth it feels even easier to [...] the MK96.
Goodies: Included with the UTG MK96 are two 23 rd magazines, tri rail quick release bi-pod adapter, UTG weaver rail bi-pod, UTG speed loader and a sling.
Shown with but not included: 5th Gen 3-9X40mm Scope and Full Size Weaver Scope Mount.
These Specs Are TRUE. There Are Alot Of People Who Dont Like The Fact That UTG Made An Amazing Sniper And You Will See Them Bash On It. Take It From Someone Who Owns It, It Is Amazing. USE only with .28 BBs. They Work The Best! You Can Actually Headshot People From About 200 Feet. And That Is Great For A 160 Dollor Gun. Buy This It Is Great. Also For Those Who Are On A Tighter Budget: i Reccommend The UTG M324 Sniper. Its Not Quite As Powerful Or Long Ranged. But Its Silent As The Grave At Only 100 Dollars, And Its Range Is Still Great. 170-185 feet. Hope This Helps You.

Perfect rifle

This is a very good gun. Its doeesn't come fully assembled, but it is quick to assemble it, since theres only 2 main pieces. (The Barrel which is made of metal except the rubber red tip. And the stock which is made of a hard plastic, except the butt of the stock which is made of rubber and is ajustable.) Unfortunetly this gun doesn't come with a scope. So I would reccomend looking into this scope if you don't have one (UTG Mil-Dot Airsoft Master Sniper Rifle Scope) Its definetly dead on acurate at 30 meters, otherwise you will have ajust it at longer distances). The bipod that comes with is pretty neat, but the attachment piece that connects to the gun is pretty loose and jiggy, Not sure if all models are like this, But this attachment piece can have 2 more things screwed onto it, Like ... a flashlight, or a laser pointer.... So I guess I can live with it. Now this gun has power and mean powahar! This can pierce a soda can at 1 - 100 meters, (haven't tested at farther ranges) But this thing will leave a hole in the 3/4 inch in diameter in the can, at 45 meters and it will exit. Finnaly the gun even comes with a extra 25 round clip, and with a nice size bag of a .20 bbs.

Perfect gun, about 450 fps with 0.20g bbs. I used 0.12g bbs and the fps was over 600! This gun is what modern society today would call a BEAST!
It comes with a high quality bipod, and 2 magazines made of metal. About 80%of the gun is pure medal including the cocking mechanism (bolt-action).
It is a pro level sniper for the mid-entery price.
Only thing is that you have to buy a scope seperately.
I give it 5 out of 5 STARS!
Just about greatest gun

This is by far one of the most efficant and effective airsoft i have ever used to date. Please ignore my spelling errors throughout the review :D
You would expect a gun that can shoot 450fps to be loud but is was very suprised to how quiet it was. If you ever shot a spit wad then thats KINDA how the gun sounds a bit. Just a bunch of air rushing through the barrel.
Also the gun is too scale and to weight. When recieveing the L96 box the gun is in 2 pieces and is fairly easy to snap onto the stock. What i found that was very neat that you could shoot the gun without the stock because the barrel and the trigger mechanisim were all together with the barrel.
The bad news is that it doesn't come with a scope and i HIGHLY RECCOMMEND you get one. The reason being is that sense this is a sniper rifle it doesn't come with an iron sight and you can abrely hit a soda can from about 10 feet away. But any form of a sight will significally improve your accurracy.
The gun is bolt action but that actually gives it a nice feature that i like. When cocking the gun make sure the the handle you use to cock the gun is all the way down or it won't fire but with some use it will be like second nature to fire a bb in 2-3 sec.
It comes with a great bipod. When u get the bipod on its wabbely but the reason to that is so you can adjust your aiming with ease. The bipod can go on any gun with a rail. Heck it could even be put on a spring loaded pistol but it'll be awkward.
The magazines are almost pure metal but weigh like the real one. When you put the clip in it doesn't stick out of the gun for maximum comfort when holding the gun so it won't be in the way. When getting it out it like pops out with a little spring clip next to the mag.
stopping power is the best i have used in a long time. Almost regardless of range it will hurt to get shot by this. With point blank range, it will penetrate 4 cans and leave a shield shape dent in the back of the 4th one or might even go through it.
Overall i think this is a must have sniper rifle and even though it set me back a bit i have no regrets. Hope my first review helped you on making your decision.
_----UPDATE
Its been a 1 year and a half and this gun is still doing wonders. Its better to use .20g bbs in this thing because the .12g will not go the way you want it or it will get near your general target. Took a lot of a adjusting with the hop up and UTG Leaper Scope but manage to make .12g to it somewhere your're looking through the scope.
So far ever sense I got this rifle, my friends have banned me from using it say its " over powered" or " Im not getting shot by that!" Gotta love it when you hear someone say that when your holding an artic warfare rifle. Out of boredom i made my self give the L96 a paint job and give it red tiger stripes. I know a MW series spin off but who doesnt want your gun to look Awesome. (Gonna post a pic on amazon) Now the few that still had the guts to play with me had givin up sense it was way too intimidating. 120% no regret there.
Just recently it snowed here in Dallas, Texas which is a rarity espically the amount this year. This time we did a get together and had an airsoft war with a 3 versus 5. ( me on the 3 ) That seemed like th only way for them to let me use the L96 for yet another Bloody showdown. Never used this gun in the conditioned before but knowing this gun was meant for this type of weather. So bit the bullet and hoped for the best. We all thought that our airsoft guns couldn't penetrate the snow but sure was I wrong yet again. The playing field was a clear field with tons of snow. just made little walls for every 10 feet. Started out with both teams as far apart from one another. Initially we ran to take the middle avoiding to run and shoot. That failed epically so we fell back to the higher parts of the walls. Taking my first shot with the L96, aiming for the bottom side of the body, pulled the trigger with my snow gloves on and missed epically, BB just swerved straight up after it left the barrel. Noticed that what I shot was a .12g so I switched to the .20g and aimed my shot once more. This time they had more there bodies behind so out of curiosity aimed for the weaker parts of the wall and where they were, took the shot and still lokking through the scope, Felt like slow-mo, saw the bb fly almost perfect with the black crosshair as it punctured the snow wall leaving a hige crater followed by a loud scream. Was entirely surprised, with evil smiles on my face just shot bbs left from right though and above the snow hitting the enemy one after the other. After the super unfair fight we checked the battle scars and all but my team and I had bb size pimples on stomachs, sides, legs, and even managed to land one on the finger....
Well that just proves that this gun is and still be a good buy with not too many draw backs.
PROS---
-Overpowered spring
-full metal body and internals
-not going to be easy to break unless you go out of your way
-good size clip ( 26 I think )
-sleek feel
-very good weight (even broke snap after a year)
-and and actual hop-up you can adjust with reasonable results
Neutral----
-DONT EVER SHOOT SOMEONE AT POINT BLANK WITH THIS GUN, ALWAYS DO IT 10FT OR MORE, WILL PENETRATE SKIN IF SHOT SOMEONE IN THE SKIN 2 FT OR LESS
-great if you can have this for lefty's
CONS---
-sometimes the front where the bi-pod goes just comes off but that depends how you use the gun
-needs to come with a scope
-needs riser for low scopes
-needs strong straps for intense usage
OVERALL---
My opinion still hasn't changed and this gun will still be #1 on my airsoft rack...
A great gun

This gun is great but the biggest hassle to order. I ordered this gun a day after thanksgiving and have been waiting practically a month now. Once you get it though it feels great the gun is in good shape. The gun can shoot really far with the fps of 450. Take it from me if you want this gun it is worth the wait, trust me.
